Émilie F. Grenier

Principal

As Principal, Émilie sets the creative vision and leads global teams to create large-scale multisensory installations for an international client base.

  • Working over the last 15 years in a range of disciplines and mediums including theatre, film, experimental digital narratives, VR, and XR — a platform-agnostic approach to technology has always been at the heart of Émilie’s process. Whereas her earlier creations had an intimate scale, featuring wearable technologies and performance, in her later work with institutions such as the National Film Board of Canada, Arte, Daily tous les jours, Cirque du Soleil, Musée National des beaux-arts du Québec and now Thinkwell Studio Montréal, her vision has expanded to the creation of immersive spaces in both built and natural environments.

Émilie is a Phyllis Lambert – UNESCO Creative Cities fellow, and holds a Master’s degree in Design Innovation for Material Futures from London’s Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design.
