Finance Director, Thinkwell Asia

Shining Sun has more than 15 years of financial experience in various multinational corporations. Holding the certificate of CMA, she focuses on developing the finance value of business operations.

Shining’s personal career started at two Fortune 500 companies, namely British American Tobacco and Thomson (renamed Technicolor in 2010). She worked as an accountant and financial analyst and has explored a wide range of fields in company operations. Shining has extensive experience in the areas of accounting, tax, internal control, budget management, operation analysis, and consolidation. She has been involved in several SAP system upgrade programs, thereby becoming a key leader in the customization of ERP to specific company needs. During her experience at Technicolor, Shining also supported the project analysis of film special effects for the film Aftershock (directed by Feng Xiaogang, 2010) and the drama The Dream of Red Mansions (2010, the period it was directed by Hu Mei).

After joining Thinkwell, Shining led the China finance team to support Thinkwell’s business operations in China and Hong Kong. Under her leadership, the China finance team provides the efficient and strong support needed to meet the various requirements and challenges from the internal management team and external government authorities. She also created guidelines to help clients run the finances of their projects more smoothly.
